Rehabilitation and modernization of the Ministry of Internal Affairs headquarters from Revolution Square, Bucharest

The general objective of the project is the rehabilitation and modernization of the building from 1A Revolution Square – the headquarters of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, in order to increase energy efficiency, by reducing greenhouse gas emissions, reducing annual primary energy consumption and the use of renewable energy sources. It is estimated that there will be a 75% annual reduction in primary energy consumption for heating and cooling, and a 70% reduction in greenhouse gases resulting from the production of the required energy.

It will also aim to increase the quality of office space, increase the security of the building, increase accessibility for people with disabilities, as well as capitalize on the historical symbolism of the building through specific measures (restoration, museum circuit, etc.).
